Stainless Damascus steel is manufactured using two powder metallurgical steel grades (RWL34 and PMC27) and joined together at 1150 °C and a pressure of 1,000 atmospheres. This process generates a steel with twice the breaking strength and also doubles the fatigue strength, ductility and impact toughness and features exceptional beauty in its engraving.
