It is an 9 cm knife with a XC90 carbon steel blade, locked by the Opinel safety ring (Virobloc), a lock patented by the Opinel brand.

Its handle is made of varnished beech wood, a resistant material that is easy to work with, which thanks to its varnishing gives it even more resistance.

*Carbon steel is not very resistant to corrosion, after use it is recommended to clean and dry it with a dry cloth and oil the blade often.
