The Yanagiba is a Japanese knife with a long, narrow blade. This knife is mainly used to cut fish for sushi or sashimi. This knife has a very fine cut thanks to the fact that it only has an edge on one side. With its long and narrow blade you can cut fish with great precision.

The Japanese Yanagiba knife is mainly designed to cut fish for sushi or sashimi, with its thin and long blade with a single-sided edge you can cut very thin pieces with great precision.

Its blade made of 1K6 stainless steel with a hardness of 58+-1 HRC, has a slightly curved back for a more secure hold.

Black handle made of polypropylene combined with bamboo powder (natural antibacterial), fully adhered to the blade, thus preventing dirt from lodged in any gap.

The Kai Wasabi Black range is designed for right-handed users only.
